Octagon Hockey, a leading global hockey agency, teamed up with Gongshow Gear and Straylight Films to produce a series entitled The Road. 

 

The Road follows the path of today's top hockey prospects preparing and training for their lifelong dream of playing in the NHL. Chronicling their journey, fans saw firsthand the dedication, sacrifice and competitive nature of the sport’s future generation.

 

The Road captures behind-the-scenes moments from the OHL, CHL Top Prospects game, World U-18 Championships, NHL Draft Combine, NHL Draft, and more. We have been featured by ESPN, TSN, Sportsnet, along with being promoted by Bob McKenzie, Elliott Friedman, and some of the most respected names in hockey today.

Hailing from 5 different countries around the world, the players featured are Patrik Laine (Winnipeg Jets), Rasmus Asplund (Buffalo Sabres), Logan Brown (Ottawa Senators), Jakob Chychrun (Arizona Coyotes), Tyler Parsons (Calgary Flames), Luke Green (Winnipeg Jets), Filip Hronek (Detroit Red Wings), Boris Katchouk (Tampa Bay Lightning), Pascal Laberge (Philadelphia Flyers), Logan Stanley (Winnipeg Jets), Gabriel Vilardi (Los Angeles Kings), Nikita Popugaev (New Jersey Devils), Nate Schnarr (Arizona Coyotes), and Ostap Safin (Edmonton Oilers).
